Misco Inspection Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sandblaster & Painter to join their team.

Qualifications

  • Previous Sandblasting and Painting experience is an asset

Must Haves or Willingness to obtain

  • Working from Heights Certificate
  • Swing Stage Certificate
  • Confined Spaces Certificates
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Reliable transportation
  • WHMIS

Job Duties 

  • Perform painting tasks at heights, ensuring safety and precision
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dependability in all tasks
  • Willing to work long hours, weekends, and travel as required
  • Take direction from skilled workers and assist ground personnel effectively
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Clean and prepare surfaces by removing rust, old paint, grease, and dirt using sandblasting equipment
  • Apply coatings, paints, and sealants using brushes, spray guns, and rollers
  • Perform tasks that require standing, walking, climbing, and lifting heavy objects
  • Ensure precision in sandblasting and painting tasks to meet quality standards
