Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and attention to detail will ensure that every guest has a memorable experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for order taking and payment processing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
  • Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
  • Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Skills

  • Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
  • Ability to prepare food items with attention to detail and presentation.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor, capable of engaging positively with guests.
  • A willingness to help others, both customers and team members, fostering a supportive work environment.
