Physiotherapist Position at Trenton Massage and Lymphedema Clinic

Overview:
Trenton Massage and Lymphedema Clinic is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. Some of our practitioners have a special focus in Lymphedema, Pre/Post Cancer care, Pregnancy and Infants, but provide therapies to a wide range of age and ability. We take pride in providing patient-focused care with a strong emphasis on integrity.

This position is ideal to start out part time, with the opportunity to grow into a full time position. Our ideal candidate provides individualized care, one on one with their patients. An upbeat personality and having the ability to work independently (without a PTA or other assistant) rounds out a good fit for our team.

Duties:
– Provide physiotherapy services with a focus on MSK and orthopedic care (bonus if able to treat children, pelvic floor, pre & postnatal, and post-cancer patients)
– Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals including Massage Therapists, Chiropractor, Holistic Nutritionist, TCM Acupuncturist and Psychotherapist.
– Utilize Bioflex Laser Therapy for treatment interventions (will provide free training).
– Problem-solve treatments for optimal patient outcomes.
– Conduct clinical assessments to identify root causes of symptoms and educate patients on home care strategies.

Experience:
– Preferred 1 year experience or more as a Registered Physiotherapist.
– Proficiency in medical terminology with the ability to communicate clearly with layman’s terms to clientele.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
– Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the CPO.

– Full time receptionist support Monday to Friday (level of support negotiable in rates).
