Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and systems to ensure optimal operation. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Service Technician plays a vital role in providing exceptional service to clients by troubleshooting issues efficiently and performing necessary repairs using various tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems and equipment in a timely manner
  • Conduct routine maintenance to prevent equipment failures and extend lifespan
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during service procedures
  • Diagnose mechanical issues through inspection and testing procedures
  • Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and parts used
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding service needs and solutions
  • Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist in training or mentoring junior technicians when required

Experience

  • Proven experience with mechanical systems, including installation and repair
  • Familiarity with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
  • Experience working with power tools for maintenance and repair tasks
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and troubleshooting techniques
  • Prior experience in a service or maintenance role is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, or diagrams is advantageous

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
