Job Title: Crusher Operator
Location: Tenton, Ontario, Canada (On-site)
Company: Dave Scott Haulage & Excavation Limited
Shift/Hours: Regular operating hours 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (based on company needs).
Potential 6:30 AM start time during busy season.
Potential 4:00 PM end time during winter season.
Potential for Saturday operations.
Compensation Range: $30.00 – $45.00(based on experience)
Start Date: As soon as possible

About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Crusher Operator to join our team in a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment. This role requires a hands-on operator who is confident working with heavy equipment and capable of maintaining consistent output while prioritizing safety and equipment performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical awareness, proven experience in crushing and screening operations, and the ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly in demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

Crushing & Screening Operations:

  • Operate and monitor crushing and screening plants
  • Ensure consistent material production and quality output
  • Adjust plant settings as required to meet production targets

Equipment Operation:

  • Operate loaders and excavators to support crushing operations
  • Manage material flow, feeding crushers and maintaining stockpiles
  • Operate stackers and associated equipment

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Perform routine running maintenance and minor repairs
  • Conduct daily inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and operational issues
  • Communicate major repair needs to supervisors or mechanics

Safety & Site Coordination:

  • Follow all company safety procedures and site-specific requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Coordinate with site team members to ensure efficient operations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating crushers and screening plants (required)
  • Experience operating loaders and excavators (required)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform minor repairs
  • Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, production-driven environment
  • Experience in construction, aggregates, or similar industry (asset)
