Full Job Description

Currently seeking one full-time employee or two part-time employees. Weekends are a must.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate, friendly, detail-orientated and have great customer service to join our team! People who love to socialize and change someone’s day with positivity are highly encouraged to apply! Must be comfortable working independently as well as with a team.

Potential shift manager will be considered based on performance.

Duties:

  • Food preparation including but not limited to: rolling pitas, slicing and cutting vegetables and meats, weighing food, making cookies, making smoothies, grilling vegetables and meats, and following recipes
  • Operation of various equipment including but not limited to: oven, grill, pita warmer, pita press, blender, vegetable chopper, and knives
  • Stocking and restocking display cases, coolers, and front station to Pita Pit guidelines
  • Cleanup and sanitization including but not limited to: bathrooms, preparation area, display cases, customer service area, walk in fridges and freezers, floors, and storage areas
  • Practicing good organizational skills
  • Taking orders and serving customers within Pita Pit standards and values
  • Operating the cash registers including but not limited to: accepting various types of tenders from customers, providing proper change to customers, balancing cash drawer and receipts, documenting discrepancies
  • Adhere to Pita Pit uniform standards
  • Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements
  • Understanding and implementing core values and pledge
  • Having a great attitude and commitment to superior customer service

Working conditions:

  • Hourly work
  • Weekday, evening and weekend work required
  • Standing for long periods of time is required with constant movement
  • Heavy lifting (max weight 50lbs) and some overhead lifting to place items on shelves (max weight 25lbs)
